Here's a few that I keep on my MWO playlist With descriptions as to why I love them... Fast paced, great for running around as a light. I found an extended version of this track that's about 15m long, and it's fantastic to play a spastic mech with Especially the section starting at 4:40. I've had an inordinate amount of games where that plays during a crucial moment...and I've had it as the backdrop of a few games where I carried a team from defeat to victory It's good luck music. And the part at 5:20 is just MADE for springing out at the enemy team in a light and wreaking havoc. Another one that's just great to fight to. The Ace Combat series had some of my favorite music tracks over the years, and it fits well with MWO. Same as above. Self explanatory. As is the next one: Those are all for this post.
You can't have a thread about video game music without some Chrono Trigger. Still one of the best games of all time.
Here's some more from my playlist Gets my adrenaline going. Plus it's from an awesome game. I'm a sucker for things with a fast-paced beat, and this one made my toes tap pretty quickly. Also, fun to kill people to. See above
Here's some more! Awesome remake of an awesome track. Fast paced, spastic song, I have this on my light mech playlist, and it helps me focus on all the snails on the field as I speed past. Another great one. It's hard not to feel the adrenaline pumping when you're piloting a mech with this in the background.
The Command & Conquer series are definitely right up there. I'll also always have a soft spot for Final Fantasy music. However, my favorite has to be the great album from Sonic Mayhem for Q2...
Doesn't work for my MWO submit videos, but thought i could share with you before i go to sleep. Some of the very best Remix Versions of MM OST i ever listened: Original: Brynolf Remix: Super Smash Bros Remix: Gameboy Version Original: Project Genesis Cover: MM2 Araujo Mmedley: GaMetal Medley:
I know this isn't from a video game, but it's too awesome not to share. This is SO in my MWO playlist now...added it after I heard Escef playing it during his twitch stream
Crusader no remorse,... I left the game on title just to cycle that menu song over and over back in the days. This remix beats the original! Actually the entire game was seriously ahead of its time in terms of music (and almost every other aspect )
I've added some great ones to my MWO playlist recently: First, almost every track from this game kicks major ass. I love hearing them: Next, had some of my best light rounds with this playing in the background:
Nice one @Michael . It is exactly 20 years. Game came out in 1995. Glad to finally meet another fan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crusader:_No_Remorse
