There is a f2p game on Steam named Robocraft. By description its gameplay a bit similar to MWO: customizing your machine is a very big deal (not just upgrading and/or a very bit of free choice like in Hawken or WoT or actually pretty much any MMO when you consider any kind of genre that has potential for deep customizing) in both. Did anybody play it? Is it good? Is there any MechSpecs analog for Robocraft? Have you invitation codes maybe? Wanna be friends there?
dude, I've played it, and it's a grind. It's still in beta, but it's a bit fun. More of a shoot em up, than a sim. But I like it cuz it's like lego. you build a ship, the play against others to see if your craft is good or not.
