    Ugh, I really only wanted to pick up the Sparky, but might as well get some others since they're basically 46% off (MC Sale + Hero Sale).

    Gonna buy the $100MC package and get:
    ~50,000 GXP for US$3.35 (1,006MC)
    Sparky $8.94 (2,681MC)
    Golden Boy $8.94 (2,681MC)
    Huginn $5.69 (1,706MC)
    Anansi $4.87 (1,462MC)
    TDK $4.06 (1,218MC)
    Total Purchase US$35.85 (10,754MC) and have 19,246 MC left for future heroes or camos.

    Plus, since I live in the US, I can buy the KarmaKoin through Paypal deal (http://mwomercs.com/news/2014/11/1003-special-offer-when-you-buy-karma-koin-on-paypalgiftscom) and get the Hunchback Mastery Pack to pick up the Grid Iron, 3 mechbays, 30 days premium, HB Statue and then sell off the 4P and 4SP for cbills since I already have them.

    I was wondering wether the bonus on MC wasn't better during the last year's Black Friday sale. Received the mail about this year's and was pretty disappointed TBH.

    Also, don't be fooled. Hero sales used to be 50% off. Get your MCs now, but if you aren't in an urgent need of certain heros, wait for the better sale.

    Black Friday 2013 was +20% as well.
    Agree about the hero's being 50% earlier this year, but they've seemed to change their pricing up with the new mech 'pack' release schedules so I don't know if we'll see the 50% off any more, either.

    Aylek's got it right. The Hero sale isn't all that great, other than that it's on ALL Heros. If you're willing to be patient, you can wait to buy that favorite Hero until it on sale 50% off.

    Yes you are right. I should be patient for 50% Sale since i already have the Heroes i really wanted - Misery, Ilya, Firebrand, Jester, YLW, Ember...

    I might get a cicada champ, the XL340 for that price is appealing for the firebrand and for the SHD 2K.

    But I'd not like too much to sell the mech back, speaking of which are cicadas decent fun? I always considered them bad with without a real reason.

    The XL340 seems really handy for them too.

    I would have the 2A with 6 mlas, 3M with 3 mlas and 1 LLAS for ECM, both with XL340, and then 1 more.

    Cicadas are so-so. The ECM one makes a great ERLL sniper --- just like the Raven-3L. Other than that though, they're pretty sad 'Mechs. The 2B got some nice MPLasers quirks, but so did the Jenner-K (though not quite as good), and it has JJs.

    Basically, most Cicadas do exactly what Jenners do, but with no JJs, worse hardpoint locations, usually slower, and with a little more armor and maybe a couple more DHS.

    That was my impression :(

    And with 2x exp I already planned to level the Jenner K so one cicada would be redundant.

    I guess I can live without an XL340.

    No, Cicadas really aren't worth it in my opinion, as there are Lights which do what it does, only better for the most part. And there are obviously much better Mediums . . .

    I still can't get anyone from PGI to confirm is the bonuses from Karma Koins and the Black Friday sale stack...if they do, I'll just get KKs instead of straight MC...but if not, the MC alone may be the better deal?

    Have to make trusty friends in the US who can do those purchases for me. As far as I know yiu're redeeming the gifts by using the Karma Koin code, but bying that one requires an US Paypal acc, right?

    Correct. I braved MWOMercs to find that quote, but believe me it is an absolute barrage of hate from non-US players right now about THAT particular issue. Supposedly it is something more related to Karma Koin than PGI, but they are naturally going to catch a lot of shit for it regardless, since you can't get the same bonuses any other way.

    I saved 2x EXP for the WHK, log in > even bugged, no double EXP, but I won first game.

    These are the little things that make me dislike the game.

    EDIT : they screwed up again, wrong code, they say they are going to make up for that tho.
