    Typical Laser Vommit type. Stay at range, point, shoot; takes good advantage of this Mech's quirks.

    Goes nice with the quirks, yes. I would switch to a XL255 to add some extra firepower though.

    I'd go the opposite way and up the engine, anyway I like this build as it is unique for the SHD.

    Nope, this chassis doesn't appeal me, I have OXIDE and Firebrand as hero mechs, especially the Firebrands outclasses the GD in the solo drops, as I have 2 ballistics and 6 lasers opposed to 1 and 4, and I don't like to put missiles on things with less then 3M hardpoints.
