I really like this. However, what happens to the modules we have already purchased? IMO with the system you suggest they should all be converted to the MC equivalent. Quick, easy, lets them operate exactly how they do currently. The other option is a "refund" of c-bills @ their full price, which would also work because you could instantly turn around and buy several modules with the refund of a single 6M module. A consequence for this second option is people could simply not spend those Cbills on modules, and buy mechs instead. Not sure if that is a bad thing or not.

 

The problem is that I think if you refunded the c-bills people would get more upset that their modules are missing rather then they just got like 40M some c-bills which they would spend then go looking for modules to put on the mech they just bought with their magic appearing c-bills.

 

agreed, that's why the first option seems like the best, unless there is another to suggest?

 

Nah - Grandfathering into the new system is prob THE best option to go with that I can think of. The other optional one would be giving the person 12x the c-bill equivalent but again - I dont think people would like that.

 

I already told you we wre much alike...didn't I? Separated last year, one daughter (most precious thing in my life, does "I would die for her" sound exaggerated? Not to me.)... only waiting for the divorce papers to sign... sigh... .
I paid a lot for this game already for the same reasons.. I want it to improve.... (but gold mechs were too expensive for me).

 

Just do it like paintjons, sort of.
You have to types, one-shot and premium.
Premium ones are more expensive than now and/or by MC, and behaves just like now. one-shot one is drastically cheaper, but not mobile. You will have to pay cbills to break them to get your slot back even.

Case solved.
