Is there any advantage really to having a package over a ship once you have one nowadays?

At first they were talking about extra clones/crew but not sure what that means now.

 

Nobody really does and they have kept it that way so that you buy packages LOL

Wait what happened to the Asteroid Hangers as my pirate pack just mentions the industrial hanger now. When they revamped the hangers did they get rid of them? That was my entire reason for getting the pirate pack in the first place as I wanted to base from the asteroid.

@Remarius OK so what happened was they changed it from being tiered hangar's (depending on your ship) to just different types of hangar's. You still have the "asteroid hangar" its just now called VFG INDUSTRIAL HANGAR (you can change what hangar you load into by going to MY HANGAR and then clicking CONFIGURE).

It's not gone it just changed names as all other hangars did.

 

Yeah but I have the VFG from other ships so feels like being shortchanged as it was a major incentive for the Pirate Pack..... now its just a grotty bottom of the bottom option in the same location as the others rather than being in a less lawful part of the universe unless I'm missing something.

That said I'll still probably take it by preference as the Luxury one is so bland.

PS: Now if I can figure out how to get these tags to work as they just disappear on my work system....

 

Well, i don't know what to tell you. Yeah back in the day it was the only package with the asteroid hangar. But things change during development.

I personally like atm. the Aeroview hangar the most. The Revel & Your is cool but has quite a few design flaws id like to see fixed before id use it.

 

Toe-deep into SC. Got myself a Hornet and Freelancer the minute I could. But sadly missed the super Hornet update,...

Are you guys happy with that FPS demo? I know it's early, but seemed like a complete waste of time and money to me. I still haven't gone in since the latest Arena Commander patch to see if the flight mechanics aren't so... bouncy... anymore. There's a fine line between sim and downright frustrating to fly and it was more on the frustrating side for me.
