    Ok, ok. SO CR posted the latest LFTCM and we got the confirmation for the next goal (60 mil) SOURCE
    • Aegis Bulldog-class Twin-Engine Deep Space Fighter – Strike hard from a distance! The Bulldog, a recent design from Aegis, has quickly become Earth’s premier deep space fighter. Deep space fighters are typically used to pursue engagements in outlying areas when support from a carrier is not available. Bulldogs are usually flown by ground- and station-based naval forces, and are widely used by militia squadrons. Specifically designed to operate from planetary bases and engage targets up to a star system’s distance, the fighter trades some maneuverability for an extended supply of fuel and munitions as well as basic survival accommodations for a pilot and radar operator. The Bulldog’s RIO operates a turret, the ship’s missile loadout (optionally) and its highly advanced sensor suite. This distinct scanning array gives the ‘Dog a particular advantage when fighting in and around an obstacle such as an asteroid field or nebula! Finally, the Bulldog is known to be an extraordinarily sturdy spacecraft, with multiple backup systems not commonly found in single-seat ships; stories of Bulldogs limping back to base with a single engine and half their fuselage exposed to vacuum have become common as the battle against the Vanduul has heated up.

    It is Aegis, therefore it is inherently perfect.

    I was convinced I would not be interested.

    • It will be extremely fast, but hard to maneuver. A very skilled pilot might be able to race it competitively after some modifications.
    • It's asymmetric.
    • There probably won't be variants for it, but players can modify the base model to do some other jobs.

    I think were both going to love the Starfarer, Stefano Tsai made a kickass job on the M50 and me thinks he's gong to ACE the Starfarer and meake it super cool looking.

    Patch Notes and features for 0.9.2

    New "ESP" system: Enhanced Stick Precision
    • Improved flight stick and gamepad controls, helping to line up targets without overshooting. Also usable for a "virtual joystick mode of the mouse".
    • Magic by John Pritchett
    • It calculates an ideal input and the actual input and blends them if close, effectively deadening stick sensitivity of input when very close to targets and preventing accidental overshoot. If it's not close to ideal, the input passes through unmodified allowing to still break away from targets without any deadened control / stickiness. Blend increases the closer the input is to ideal values.
    ITTS Enhancements
    • Instead of lead targeting indicators extending from target ship, your targeting computer displayds a "Predicted Impact Point" for each distinct weapon. Looks like gimbaled weapons lag behind your line of sight reticle while fixed ones lag behind your fixed gun cross.
    • These PIPs are colored, showing you weapon range.
    • When firing, an element just outside the PIP will flash.
    • It will indicate if projectiles intercept the enemy ship.
    • The shape of the PIP is also different for each weapon type.
    Targeting HUD
    • Clearer focus of target.
    • New targeting reticle - four individual brackets which align along longitudinal axis of target ship with a forward cone (pic[1] ).
    • Reticle expands around borders of ship as it moves closer.
    • Unscanned target markers don't show identities next to them anymore (removes HUD clutter, encourages scanning and target docking system usage).
    • Less prominent reticle and fades from view when looking straight ahead.
    New Flight Controls
    • Dynamic Zoom: mouse wheel or trigger/dpad. Changes focal point depending on what you are looking at. Mimics and expands on the optics of the human eye to give clearer image and removing other distances from focus. Their tip is to use increased zoom and focus to hit specifics of enemy ships like guns or engines.

    • Drag to Move: ctrl+c (toggle). Mode for keyboard and mouse. The mouse only turns the ship aand the guns fire toward where the ship is facing. Their tip: great for fine shooting or precision movers as the ship becomes more controlled and less floaty. Also useful with non-gimbaled weapons.

    • Target Focus: L / R3 / Button 11 (rebindable). View drift to focus on your currently selected target. Keep target within a few set constraints - moving out of view for 3 seconds will cause loss of focus on the target. Target focus is useful for joystick/gamepad poilets as their primary input method as it allows the pilot to keep eyes on target. Their tip: good with gimbaled weapons when using joystick/gamepad.

    • Look Ahead: Right-Alt (toggle). Turns pilot's head in the direction you're pitching or yawing, offering better view in that direction. Default on for keyboard and mouse users.

    • HOMAS: right-shift (toggle). 'Aim only joystick'. Great for ambidextrous pilots who like flying and using gimbaled weapons as separate entities.

    • Gimbal Lock: right-ctrl (toggle). 'Move Only Mode'. Means you fire directly ahead with all weapons including gimbaled ones whilst being able to use mouse to look/control the ship's pitch and yaw. Their tip: Useful for bringing both fixed and gimbaled weapons to bear on target when flying with a mouse.

    Mmh seems to be orientated to carrying data not hacking and in such a way that its only actual defence is speed (with no agility).
