Hope the playerbase will be high enough to unlock 50% discount !

Already planned to spend about 33m c-bills on the SCs, spending half would be amazing !

 

ok will play this WE! I really want to have lower Prices for all the Mechs, for the whole community! C'mon guys, lets do it. Though i still don't know how exactly our Points will determine the prices in the end. Any mathematical formula would be helpful/interesting.

 

The discount is only for stormcrow and shadowhawks (new hero? SCs will be out for cbills, mechbays won't make PGI earn too much money...I really see the hero SHD coming ), and the mechbays

Formula is only completing the main objective of the game in consquest or assault, and gain 20 points, if one wins killing mechs you earn 10.
in skirmish winning(or a loss anyway) is 15 points.
all draws are 5 points.

if the community gathers 450,000+ points we gets 50% discount !

Of course, since conquest and assault usually end up with the death of the whole team and take more time, skirmish all the way !

 

Assuming most matches will end in team destruction, we can guestimate 11.6 points a match, which means we'll need about 38000 matches played. Thats...thats a lot of matches.

 

it's already @ 8000 points, I think we will get at least 35% discount !

 

I'll play some after a few sc matches. Stormcrows are next on my list.

 

We only need 5000-6000 points an hour to earn the max rewards, but that might be a bit of a stretch.

The bad, already seeing collusion Dropped into 2 Assault matches, both teams agreed not to attack one another, and base rushed. Game over zero damage recorded vs enemy mechs, but it got 20 points. Good for the scoreboard, bad for entertainment...

Edit 2: We're already at 30% off now. I'd bet that we will hit 60k points in the next few hours or so as well. If it holds at the current rate on average, we should at least get the 45% bonus...put in as many rounds as I could before work, so it's nice. Tried some Conquest/Assault matches, and while I saw the aforementioned ones, a lot were still ending on deaths, so I switched to Skirmish only. At least that way, there's 15 points every game.

 

but but... I already own SCRs and have 16 unused mechbays from the last sale on them. I will spite Blagg in his quest for cheap crows and not play this weekend

 

Can't decide if to churn some c-bills this weekend or just take a break.

 

No way I'm playing at some cap race in assault. As for Conquest (the mode I usually play the most), there are already too many slow mechs capping even without invitation of any sort.
This weekend I'm playing Skirmish only.

 

It's a great idea to get 4G, especially if you have others. I kind of regret not having used the sale on hunchies, but I'd skip the 4G back then anyway.

I think if one doesn't have SCRs it's basically a must to use this sale, 3 of the best mechs ingame for 16,5 millions(or a bit more if 50% is not reached) it's a steal !

I guess 45% is a realistic result from the projection (right now @350k), but week end might push it to the 450k goal.

 

Agreed. I don't have the SCRs yet, so I'm devoting a lot of time to get as many points as I can...and using my Ember to get some extra cbills as well I have enough to buy the crows outright with the sale, and mastering them should help save up for Timberwolves when they come out

 

I rather wonder if they underestimated peoples desire for the SCR's or just screwed up the points as its a big sale for a brand new superb quality mech.

 

I will keep on logging then, even if I die early doing nothing we end up getting more points as a whole due to more games played.

 

I am actually just finishing my Kitfox (mastering the Prime) and then I will be moving on to Crows so this is a nice sale. Assuming the game holds my interest for more than 2 days LOL
