Great build! I had a ton of fun running around in this last week, littering the ground with broken components of fallen enemies. I found the mediums (4) to be nice for poking lights at medium range or for extra burst damage up close; I found that I didn't use them frequently enough for the heat to be an issue.

Kalli, I think you have gotten really good with this build and nailed its capabilities down. I am just beginning to appreciate this build as well but I opted for two medium lasers instead to add more Gauss rounds... Nonetheless, it is also a patience thing for me with this mech after realizing it is a whole new discipline after piloting my Dragon 1C for sooooooo long. I would have never thought the 5 ton separation between those two heavies are worlds apart in feel and tactics. Keep up the good piloting with the 6-S buddy!

  3. I'm going to try this and see how it runs.

    Draco:

    a) Never use an XL 260, because the XL 265 weighs the exact same amount. Personally, I'd use an XL 255, because that's a very common engine size that I'd rather own than a 265.

    b) Put your Gauss ammo in important places with important crit slots (eg. right next to the Gauss rifles) to pad it out, since Gauss ammo doesn't explode.

  5. Gauss ammo on the arms if i read correctly? And ill buff up the engine, more speed, better positioning. Thank you.

I've been searching high and low for a sniper build that really suits me, and by god if this isn't it.

I LOVE IT. I made a couple of tweaks in terms of critpadding and such, but all in all I just love the way this mech feels.

Here's the build I'm currently using.

    Thank you so much :D

Easy to say when your computer is not a potato. Recording does not work well at all on my comp.

Nice build. I play this one a lots too but i prefer with an xl 210 and 6 t of gauss ammo and max armour instead of 4 t ammo and xl 255.

I am a passionate user of the centurion cn9-a who likes to use his shield arm, but I figured trading two heat sinks for two lasers, buffing the armor up, and providing an extra ton of ammo looks as if it would be suited better, especially if you look into the build I put the most important equipment on the left side of the mech and the right to be used as a "shield" in desperate measures.

EDIT: I do not know how to put the layout like you all do for your builds, so please click the link :D
