I'm a PUG and proud! I'm a PUG and proud #2 Special Issue #1: PurpleJack vs. the World! Special Issue #2: Oxidized Featured video: Gameplay videos: List under renovation, sorry for the inconvenience. For the moment, directly browse on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/imanoobandproud
Those were some nice kills, you have WAYYYY more steady aim than me Then again, my mouse has a tendency to be unresponsive at times.
Still a tiny bit envious of the fragging clips you have I was planning on collecting for a montage too but this makes my sustained-fire-at-one-location-so-they-die-kills look amateur :C
I edited the first post to make it kind of a video library, collecting the links of videos I made. Including this new exclusive Centurion party, featuring my glorious Yen-Lo-Wang and a (wild) bunch of CN9-Ds
This one is dedicated to Business It was a nice and close game. Sorry we cowardly ran away from gamma, a lance mate crashed and suddenly we thought it would not be a smart idea to trade damage with two phracts and a jagermech.
Lol, I'm so going to kill you now But hey, the whole purpose of that Trip-LBX is to disturb the peace, even if I'm outweighed in a 70t vs 270t matchup, lol. Just thought my teammates would help a bit more quickly And don't worry, that map is garbage with the spawn locations. I don't fault anyone for running from Gamma after spawning there as it usually becomes a deathtrap. But you're still going to die.
About the map, I think the problem is more about the cap points location than the spawns. Actually, I like how lances are separated at first. It may lead to some very nice 4v4 engagements over the bases. It also brings some strategical dilemma: do we regroup the lances and try to arrive at 8v4, but at the risk of being outcapped? (yesterday I had this game on Terra therma, our lance went kappa on the far left side and faced two lances... ouch... we played defensively and, even though they took two of us down and you have kill us all at the end, we bought enough time for our team to cap the two other bases and kill the third lance before they came to help us) Imho, thep roblem is more about the bases location, which is totally unbalanced to the west side, leaving gamma too far from the other (though it can be an interesting design option) and theta and kappa to close to each other (that's the biggest problem imho, thos two bases come together to the team spawning south). Maybe just move theta over the ridge: Hum... maybe it would require to move epsi to H6, and maybe kappa a bit too, in order to lower the advantage given by higher position on theta.
I dropped with you on forest colony yesterday and you had a impressive 800+dmg game with your Cent...guess we will meet in some games the next copule days
Should have been one of my good days! I guess it was with the CN9-D or the Yen-Lo-Wang, I occasionally mark pretty high scores on these two. But all the cents are nice mechs, I should do a series of videos, one for each (same with the jenners, could be nice). Anyway, I had a funny game last night, but rather to show you the full game, which would a been boring, I made a quick highlight montage. Consider it as an educational video that tells you how to deal with a swarm of ravens when you're piloting a battlemaster definitely not equipped to fight a swarm of ravens... In a word, you need great skill luck. (and to keep in mind that the leg is your favourite target)
OMG - that was sooo f#/$!& cool!!! Especially that last raven...he should have hugged you . Congrats on that match!
New commentated ride-along, on my glorious "Fabulous Purple" Centurion-D. (featuring our beloved forum admin, though I'm afraid we don't even see him on cam ) I've got some more games recorded, on JR7-F and CTF-4X, I'll try to edit and upload them this week.
Well, last days I'm in a mood for editing gameplay videos So here are two JR7-F videos, the first on the classic 6 MLas build, the second on my personal favourite 6 SPLas build: Enjoy. I also have an Oxide video in the pipes, to continue the Jenner series. Maybe tomorrow if I take the time.
A, somehow funny, game I played yesterday in my fashionable "Angry Lobster": (it also was the opportunity to roughly test colour correction settings)
One single easy shot required. Three minutes later, I'm still on it. I should have added a "rage level" bar on the video:
I made a little video of my games in the medium vs the world challenge. It's quickly done and nothing sophisticated, just putting clips together and adding a silly song on them. I hope you'll find it entertaining. (for some reason Youtube made it look a lot darker than intended... I must test this before I release other stuff)
I've been lazy on this new video, only a little introduction and after that it's rough gameplay. (but it's still nice to have gameplay videos, I should do that for every build I submit here) (build thread)
