Well, My solution to how the standard 4x SSRM2 streaklocust getting decrapified by ECM.
You downgrade it to 2x SSRM4, and add a BAP.
Well, unfortunately I have not faced any ECM while running this build, oh well.

Unfortunately, the Commando totally outclasses this. Better off going 4x and dropping with a BAP buddy.

COM-2D is better, with ECM even. I am just trying to test out more variated builds other than the typical 4x ssrm2.

yeah the Locust already is limited in Armor, but peeling off so much to fit triple SSRM2s is in my opinion too disadvantageous unless you really avoid the fight and use the SSRMs for Defense.. But for that two SSRMs and a Laser are good enough. Generally i must say, that the Locust should have a higher Armor Cap to compete with other Lights

Well... I used to run the 3SSRM2 build for a looooong time. And while it was fun, ammo was always an issue. I did a lot of damage and though I had 2t of ammo, I always ran out.
I downgraded to a 175XL (it still survives even w/o full speed), deinstalled the BAP and added an extra 0,5t of ammo, so now I have 2,5t. Still running out of ammo, but I can punch out more of it. ;)
    I prefer the MPL/2SSRM2 variant....

Why would you buy an XL175 while you can use an XL180 for the same weight?
    Currently I use this instead
I use 3S for SRM now.
