Hi there, this is my Approach for the CPLT-C4 as a heavy Indirect Fire Support with Dual LRM20 pods! Since this mech belongs to the few ones able to fit LRM20 pods (with 20'tubes), you should go for them.

    The strength of this build:

    1. High Range Firepower and plenty of Ammo
    2. High Mobility through high Speed and JJ (important for Repositioning)
    3. High Cool Efficiency
    4. High Armor
    5. Tag (vs ECM.Atlas)

The downside: Very low Direct/Defense Firepower

Well, with this build you should really stay far behind the frontlines and in cover. Follow your mates and try to always position yourself behind them, so that they can protect you. And if you feel the need of more Ammo, you can maybe give up the JJs, but they r viable to get over obstacles and so to escape attacking Enemies. Its up to you.

    Alternate "Double Laser+Ammo+" Version:

I like vanilla ice cream and I like this build. 5 stars from me.

When I want chocolate syrup on my vanilla ice cream I'll put something in the 2 extra missile hardpoints.

This is a five star build for me too and is how I run my CPLT-C4 with good success. If you are not planning to use the fact this 'Mech has 20 tubes, then there are better CPLT variants to choose from.

The Catapult has too big a centre torso to brawl well and so the CT energy points are not as potent as some chassis are for zombie builds (although people find it hard to resist shooting your 'ears' off even if there are no weapons in them).

This 'Mech lacks a vital secondary weapon system and so is a high-risk build. You must maximise your movement to avoid getting into trouble. The jump jets and speed of the CPLT can help - but some matches you cannot avoid getting swarmed by lights. Accept it, and revel in the matches where you 'steal' six kills and cause 500+ damage.

The only improvement might be more ammo. I might consider dropping BAP and AMS - but these are relatively easy changes for most people to consider on their own and don't constitute a different build.

    Excellent Build!

I combined your two builds and used 2xLRM20+A, MLas, TAG, Extra ammo.

Here is a screenshot of the PUG match I had today.
