Dont want to sound like a doomsday prophet but, WOW they must be hurting for cash to put up 4 heros on sale @ once... I really do hope i'm wrong, but the writing seems to be kinda on the wall.. With the releases of games BF4 and the consoles PS4 and soon Xbox1 it seems like the novelty of the Phoenix Mechs has kinda worn of. I'w heard friends have had to wait even 3-4 minutes just to find a pug game solo.... EDIT: Also as i have all but the Golden Boy theres really nothing for me.
I agree. BUT I am gonna take full advantage of this and buy the Dragon Slayer and Protector! Hell to the yes!
Sure if you haven't got them and want to get them by all means NOW is the time to do it i'll same you a few bucks you can sue eating out or go see a movie.
Personally I disagree, it's been weeks since a hero mech sale so I'm not really supprised that they have 4 at once. I don't think the writing is on the wall at all and believe this game is still just getting started. As for the 3-4 minutes wait time for a solo drop I can't comment as I always do at least a 4 man drop and almost never wait more then about a minute. Now 12 man drops durring the week and even on the weekend sometimes can be quite slow...
Hero Mech sales only come once every 4-5 weeks. I can't remember the exact cycle but I know it is a minimum of 4 weeks. They have also never had more than 2 at one time and the "twosome" that they used to have were the X5 and the YLW being sold at the same time. Oh wait, they also had the Dragons at the same time too. But never more than 2 to my knowledge. As for the writing being on the wall? We will see what happens in the next few months as they begin to roll out stuff.
The Senior Class Heroes sale they had was the X-5, Yen-Lo-Wang, and the Death's Knell all off 30% at the same time, if I remember correctly.

Probably the best Hero Mech sale ever... Proetector, Heavy Metal, and Slayer! (missed the last sale of it) Not getting Glitterboy, don't really like the specs. Kinda sucky really. Most MC spent in a week/moth/etc I have to say. Now I am waiting for Misery. (not sure about Pig Head)
Against all my own expectations I skipped the Dragon Slayer, but got myself a shiny Golden Boy. The reasons for this? I already do own and mastered HGN-HM, HGN-733C, VRT-9K and VTR-9S and sold HGN-732 and HGN-733P. As much as I like the DS, it doesn't offer a whole lot of new playing experience justifying the price tag for me. Not even the reduced one. KTOs on the other hand... I wanted to start them since quite some time, and as I prefer to play a chassis's variants differently, I was already set to use either the 19 or 20 as a medium LRM boat. As the GB is comparable to the KTO 19 (at least a little bit) - same 3 energy, 1 more missile hardpoint - and as neither speed nor torso twist is highly relevant when using LRMs I was set to go. My current loadout on the GB uses all it's hardpoints and is pretty fun to play.
