This build is inspired by one of my favorite mechs to run in the game, the BJ-1 Zappo's Zippo (1x PPC, 1x AC5, 3x MLas, XL235). I've had great success with this Blackjack, and since the Victor is like a giant Blackjack in many ways, I figured a build like this could be the Zippo's bigger daddy! This mech definitely provides some pop at mid to long range and can really ruin the other team's day. Note that one of the key features of this type of design is the fact that UAC5s and PPCs have almost identical projectile speeds. When engaged, I always fire the PPC and UAC5 together, leading the target, then track back on with the lasers. This makes for an easy firing solution that isn't too tricky to handle during the heat of combat. Also, the UAC5 does champion work firing while the PPC is on cool down as well. If you insist on using all of the hardpoints, it's not too hard to make that happen. Here's the fully utilized variant: This mech doesn't require as much AC5 ammo as you don't tear through it as quickly as an UAC5. Also, the AMS is dropped which I don't view as a big deal. I don't like running with it as I view it as mostly unnecessary. I only have it in the first build due to free tonnage.
