1. Hi everyone!
This is a kind reminder to rate the builds you play or read. The ETA for the new rating system is not yet here, but if everyone active could rate 1 build per day, we can have everything rated in only 1 month! Don't feel bad about giving bad ratings with some constructive criticism :)
Thanks in advance -- the MechSpecs team.

Coming soon on the MWO Cooking Show as soon as I can get some damn cbills. I still have alpha strike meme mechs to buy too, and being a chef doesn't pay very well. This one's pure theory, losing a bit of speed and two flamers over the piranha in exchange for range, jets, and running cooler.

    Which one's the better chef?

So with the flamer nerfs this build is a big no-go. Came up with two options in light of the Piranha also getting gutted. 4 Flamers and 5 HSLs doesn't ghost heat, lets you boat sinks, and runs CRAZY cold. Your flamers will still end up overheating, though, forcing you to disengage anyway.

Other options include just dropping a flamer for a LAP and running the HMLs, or...

If you're not comfy reducing any leg armor you can drop a DHS and run a LAP instead for the half ton back.

I would really like to find a way to make use of the more agile Vipers, but the A side torsos are just too intrinsic to making this mech work. Pretty sure anything using that CT energy mount for a big gun is just dumb tho.
