Edit: Got another 1k a couple games later on the same build.

 

with the following build on the Vapor Eagle-3

 

tried a VGL-3 (with 3x ATM9 build from this forum) for the first time today. Let's say, it still works. I only had 5/91 skill nodes unlocked. This mech is good fun indeed.

I had a rough start with the Vapor Eagle, honestly hated it at first. After tinkering with builds I finally have one that works consistently. Finally managed to crack 1k damage on Terra Therma. Running 2xERPPC and some LMG.

Not my best or anything but the only one I thought to screenshot, might as well post it here now that the VGL-1 has quite possibly taken the spot for my favorite 'mech. This was with the 3xppc build which I spend most of my time using. Something about those clan ppcs, feels good being able to respond/pressure at basically any range.
