I hated Uziels. I got the champion in an event and hated it so much that I sold it, and never played another Uziel till now - boy was I wrong... This build is a “compromise” between the dual HPPC build and the lasers vomit build, but for me it works better than either. The HPPC gives a nice PPFLD portion of the damage and 5 ML complete a higher total alpha than 2HPPCs, and better damage/heat, not to mention that they don’t have a minimum range. So what you lose in pure poptartiness you gain in versatility plus. The mech is surprisingly survivable with XL engines. While you are a walking torsos, the Uziel has extremely boosted accelerations and torso speed. Therefore it can spread damage like a boss. The thick STs also mean that when you give the enemy your healthy side it can hit nothing but that side, and you can shield opened CT or the other ST. Maxed armor, 4 JJs to get you to places, and extreme mobility. I am so pleasantly surprised by this build.
3 jj is plenty, put DHS in torso for longer cooling potential, and put in tc for more range and velocity
Fair enough. I still prefer a 4th JJ and maxed armor over the minor bonuses of TC1. The DHS in the arms were there for the purpose of crit padding the arm lasers. If I lose an arm with two MLs my heat generation goes down so I can also afford to lose the DHS.
Eh, the cooler you are the better, and crit padding for a relatively low health part of the mech, especially something that will get blown off pretty easily, not really worth losing heatsinks for IMHO And 3v4 jj is only really a big difference when your going to a specific place on a map, usually even 2 are good enough if used properly (BTW you killed me just today, I was in an annihilator, and you were running around in a smoll boi and just picked me off)
