Basically, an unquirked MRM Zeus with ECM. Fun fact: compared to 2xMRM30 (which you can't fit here), you are trading +1 ton for -1 heat generated per alpha strike (better than a single DHS if we consider the 0.15 heat/s dissipation of a single DHS and the ~4.5 seconds cooldown), slightly better spread and -1 slots occupied... A very good trade. Use your ECM to flank and get close, then enjoy the little spread of MRMs upclose... Remember: this build is intended to deliver damage up close, do not poke repeatedly at range because you will spread the damage too much. ML are there to add some pinpoint at range, do not rely too much on them when brawling. EDIT: after playing some games, it's actually hotter than expected, even when firing only the MRMs... With that in mind, this is the proposed skill tree EDIT 2: after multiple games, I found out that the previous version with LE300 and 5xML was simply too slow to be worth it... The WHM-7S "6R-meta try harder" (2xMRM30, 4xML, LE325) is capable of doing EVERYTHING as well as this thanatos: warhammer is way faster (75 km/h vs 60km/h) and consequently better at getting the brawl earlier, it does has very similar cooling but thanks to the quirks is actually cooler and had the same ammo count... That's why I've abandoned the old LE300 build and moved to a LE325 and +1 ton of MRM ammo due to fact you should rely more on MRM to damage your opponents. Spoiler: ALT: first and original build, LE300 and 5xML Spoiler: ALT: SRM version Very similar alpha strike, slightly higher DPS (especially sustained) and faster... But that single SRM2 ruins the picture. You could even replace it with a JJ or a ton of ammo (3 tons of ammo are quite few for SRMs, so 4 tons are better)
UPDATE: changed main build from (3xMRM20, 5xML, ECM, LE300) to (3xMRM20, 3xML, ECM, LE325). The reason is simple: it's too slow for being a "brawler" and the ECM can't help enough about it.
