As soon as get some MC in my account, I'm purchasing and setting up this:

Get behind the big 'mechs, open them up with the twin LPL then go to work with those six nasty machine guns. This is going to be soooo much fun.

Bonus ammo (fewer heat sinks) version:

    Standard Engine version:

I'll be grabbing it when I get home tonight. This is going to be a great mech to run this Jager-DD build in!

    Beat me to it. ;)

And yes, this will be the first build I try in this thing (though I'll drop the extra DHS for another ton of Ammo). It's just too much like a smaller, faster, Jump-Jetting Jagger to not take it for a spin!

Best possible loadout for this mech.

If you run with 286 armor, 10 DHS and only one ton of MG ammo (depends on how often you can get into hugging range) You can also fit a STD225. I doubt it will be worth it, however, it does allow you run the STD...

I'm finding it loses its arms/torso's a lot tbh so contemplating a STD version.

TBH the stock version is better imo. Almost the same alpha and range, but Max STD engine is great and you have very decent heat dissipation and ammo.

Agreeing with sub7. I don't see the advantage to run this over the Stockbuild.

2x MLas has very similar Damageoutput, Range and Cooldowntime. I don't see a reason why to load the second (7tons heavy) LPLas, while you can go STD for Zombiemode with two MLas instead.

But i do understand the popular idea to remap the JM6-DD build on this Mech. :)

    Two reasons
    1) Longer range
    2) Better pin-point

    1) You want to get close and use MGs anyway
    2) 0.4 shorter burn time vs living a bit longer with just your CT and a LPL, I know my choice!

Trading against Survivability and Zombie. Hmmph! The JM6-DD can run it with STD Engine, that's ok. But in this Mech with much less Armor IDK if this is a good choice.

Loving this build. ^_^ I was pulling 500-600+ damage rounds with it all night yesterday! The Arrow rules! 5 stars!

    1) Yes, but you also want your opponent to be open when you get there. :p
It gives you the chance to do something at range, while still having excellent energy support up-close. Playing with an Arrow in our group last night, he closed that range too soon, too often and paid for it by taking front-line damage in a medium mech. The two just don't mix that simply. You have to wait until the right moment to move in for the kill and the major brawl. In the mean time, you are better off with the dual LPLas to put out as much damage as possible when you have the opportunity to.

    2) That's the trade off. You either like it or your don't, doesn't mean it's not worth it to some people. I personally think the stock load out is fine (hence my build post). However, this build definitely has the "Strike when ready" mentality of jump-shooting with the LPLas and staying in cover to avoid as much return damage as possible for as long as possible. You can be more aggressive with the STD single LPLas stock build, but that also has its drawbacks. Not necessarily drawbacks of the build, but of it's intended use and where it puts you on the battlefield. Strategy vs Tactics.

Personally, I will take that quicker burn-time every time. Too easily a MLas hits multiple components which is just a waste. LPL will still do the same, but, to a lesser extent. With a MG-seeking Crit-focused build, you HAVE to be able to get down through all armor and get to components for any of those machine guns to make any difference. Otherwise, they are just dead weight.

To be honest I don't know what to think.
When this build works, it's absolutely great. Especially for a legger like me. And you can almost poptart, what you can't do with standard lasers.
When I'm snipped on side torso and die instantly, I wish I had a STD engine with a LLas+2MLas build.

Anyway, it's a 5 stars for me. Here is my build, only ten DHS but AMS :

My last game, pretty representative of how it goes when it goes well:

(when it goes bad it's the game before: 45dmg, dead after 2 minutes  )

Yep, I need to test this. But I'm afraid MPLas would make it to much close ranged on a mech not that fast.

Loving this build. 40% faster DoT is critical to survival IMO. Also, as epikt mentions, the ability to pop-tart in the early phases lets you contribute the entire match. I need to get to windowed mode to get some screen caps, but some of my best games in a while have been in this thing. My god... what 6x MG can do.

I've been running a less optimized build of this since it came out. Mine only had a 220XL and 1 ton of ammo, but a total of 14 DHS, which made it very heat resistant.

Anyway, I managed to get a 1k+ match with it on Caustic, which came as a bit of a surprise.

I only use the MGs when I definately am in range and I see open armor or when I absolutely need to, so 1 tonne of ammo is enough for me. The additional DHS are more important to me, as the pinpoint damage of the Lasers generally is my main source of damage on most maps.

Even had a 1on1 against a Battlemaster at one point and I chewed through his center torso surprisingly quickly.

While I used to prefer the stock build, I've recently changed to this. I barely ever get shot on my ST because the Blackjack is basically a bigger jenner. The 2xLPL range synchronisation proves to be much more useful than 2ML 1LPL in most scenarios, and I'm now a convert for this build :D

Been trying out this one a bit. Though it has less DPS and Heat-Efficiency than my Pulse Master build, it has a little more range, which can be nice in some situations.

I gotta say, the Arrow does wonders to my KDR. :p

(Not sure what went wrong with the size of this image, but oh well.)
