Saw a build like this on a 5M, figured I'd try it. The first time you fire the torso LRMs they come out as 6-4, but every other salvo they sent 10 at a time. This means after your first salvo and cooldown, you can fire in AMS-busting volleys of 50, or chain-fire 10s for incredible spam. I don't have a LRM10 CD module, but if I did the spam would probably be constant. As is, there is a very tiny delay between the last LRM and the reset of the cycle. Obvious weaknesses are short-range firepower and the XL engine, making you incredibly vulnerable up close. The rain you can bring is well worth it. It's basically scaled-up LRM5 spam.
I swapped the XL out for a LFE for a bit more durability. ERSL for the Mediums. Dropped the BAP to put the TAG in the CT. Works amazingly well and is super fun throwing a stream of LRM10s at the enemy.
With the new tag changes, tag gives Line of Sight to the LRMs, which you already have if you are using the Tag. It's really only useful for others and not yourself. If you're going in a group, tags can be handy, but otherwise, its not worth taking when you're bringing LRMs anymore.
Instead of 5xLRM10, why not 4xLRM10 and lasers? If I remember correctly Artemis will kick in with only direct Line of Sight, so fit the most laser vomit and use 2 LRM group instead of 3 seems a good trade to me _
If you drop to 4x10, you could just do 2x20. The cooldown is a touch longer, but it saves heat and tonnage. _
Damage will be spreaded more compared to LRM10, but it's definitely a more "alpha-centric" and sustainable build.
