While this may be true they are finding ways around this.

For instance ERPPC and PPCs are being linked. You can bet in the very near future that LLas, ERLLas and LPLas will all be grouped into one group as well.

 

The good side is, there is only so much they can do before they whack the system to be unplayable... they can't group up all similar ranges weapons, for example, or the system would be too complex with different groups and things that it would be hostile to noobs and casual players.

So basically, they should learn to accept that people want to win, and that the good thing about mwo is that EVERYONE can own almost any mech as free2play so if you see someone doing something really powerful, you can do it too! As long as things are not TOO lop-sided things can be ok.

There is NEVER going to be people running around with mechs according to mechwarrior lore and world views, we are not roleplaying, we are killing each other in a [mock] simulator (that having said, I would Hate to see a 3rd person view).
