Sparky "Lightning" (3x LPlas, 7x JJ, XL300)

    A maximized efficiency sparky to make use of the updated quirk. (-15% laser duration, -15% energy heat, -5% energy cooldown)
    Be sure to never stop moving and "jump shoot" whenever possible.
    This can be viewed as an alternative to 6x MPlas build but I feel a bit more comfortable at a longer range.
    The 12 HS may seem a bit low but is enough for a decent continuous firing duration.

    On average this mech deals about 500 dmg per round assuming you dont screw up and die too early.

    I also have had the most success running 3xlplas on sparky, but 7 JJs? Feels overkill. I run 3/4 and it's fine for most everything. Since heat doesn't really go down while jumping you don't want to be flying too much either.

    Well, 7 JJ's allows you to jump shoot better and can save you if you bump into a heavier mech.
    Also I kinda cant figure out how to use the few remaining tonnage so JJ has to do :p

    Wow, this is a build I never considered for my beloved Sparky, probably because it used to have some very compelling MLas quirks until December 2015. 3x LPLas QKDs can be seen quite often nowadays and I bet Sparky can do this at least as good as those.

    Finally managed to try this one out yesterday. What a blast to play! I have yet to use a version with more than 2 JJs, though. This definitely has the potential to become my favorite loadout on one of my favorite mechs. Kudos!

    Your loadouts seem to fit more player than mine. I will edit the original post to inform people of your build so they can have more choices trying out this build.

    Sadly this isn't that impressive anymore: everybody and their mother is investing deeply into the survival tree and the IS LPL has been nerved several times since then.

    You can archieve literally the same result by going 2x LPL + 2x ERML @ Light 295. Same damage, 2 JJs, 48% cooling.

    You make a good point. I've been trying to redesign my Sparky to make it worthwhile. All the old builds seem extremely lackluster. But I hate to think it's become an absolute waste of MC. :(

    Maybe double Heavy-PPCs is the way to go. But it hardly has high mounts, and it doesn't have very good quirks either. So hard to make this thing worth running at the moment.
