Raven has bushwacker-like hitboxes, so if it's not necessary to mount XL, light engines are great! Inspired by the ER Huginn, I made a version with ERML and LMGs, and a light engine. Not sure if it's really strong enough though. Instead of the TC1, you could increase the amount of JJ.
Using the light engine could be actually really interesting: you could shield with a weaponless side to protect the weapons on the other... Like a Marauder or the Bushwacker, like you said. I don't know if this is gonna work, but it could be really interesting if the tactic "I'll open your back with lasers and crit with MRMs" works.
