I love spicy hppc mechs (read as: this is a slightly biased review)! Dual HPPC is a staple in my stable, on my Firebrand, Awesome, Uziel, and some others. The Firebrand uses only 4 backup SL, so I think I might switch it back to AC2s in favor of this mech.
Innersphere SL aren't that ticklish when you run lots of them as a backup, due to the quick CD and laser duration, so this mech can still be formidable within hppc minimum range.

My favourite is the max DHS xl255 variant, because of the highest sustained DPS and symmetric aesthetics. The strong arm build is probably better overall due to weapon convergence, side poking potential and speed. The LE is a tad too slow and losing a side torso cripples your heat dissipation enough to make the remaining hppc almost unusable.
