My current build for the Oxide, it's enough ammo to annoy heavy mechs with LRMS, and enough Streaks to pissoff light mechs. Note: I have had success with kills in the 4lrm Oxide, but I think this will be a bit better end game, when your the last light mech in a pug match.
This was my third idea when seeing Oxi's hardpoints in the patchnotes, first one obv. being the streak boat while the second one was the LRM supporter, but I didn't want to overload the building section with untested builds. This looks rather nasty, and while I am still pissed about a JR7 hero without jumpjets I ultimately might give it a shot anyway since there are now at least 3 builds I want to try. I am not voting yet, but this looks promising as hell. And I already own an XL 265 anyway... EDIT Going down to an XL255 might be doable as well. Speed isn't that important on this build as you want to bombard opponents from far away early in the game and finish them off with streaks later. Armor and cooling efficiency on the other hand... What do you think about these modifications? I am not sure if we want the fourth ton of LRM ammo or that additional DHS. I guess this needs testing.
