    Because it can. Plays like a Freak. Just Alpha at someones butt with 34+ damage and then get the hell out of there! Just to cool down for another Freakshow.

    more ammo! especially with the lack of any backup weapons I can easily burn 4 or 5 tons with 4xSRM4, and I don't expect that to be different in a speedy jenner than on my crazy SHD-2D2 builds.

    I downgraded to XL295 and removed .5 tons of armor for 1 more ton of SRM ammo. Max damage in a match from weapons now up to 800 instead of 600 :p

    Baby SplatCat! Wow! Need reports about it. This is a potential 4th build worth trying for the Oxide. Might finally buy one despit my early dislike.

    Seven's 4 tons of ammo is probably about right, will test to see if things are great.

    I think that losing 2 kph for a ton of ammo is fine, 10 kph for 2 tons... not so much. Once you run ~140 that's a significant downgrade from 150 and it makes it hard to survive long enough for the 5 tons to be spent. Whatever floats your boat I guess though.

    This is one mech I will be on the lookout for if the SRM improvements comes true tonight, I've been checking on mechs and builds with SRM's and this build will kick serious behind as a light jouster and streaking into heavies/assaults. It's like a torpedoboat vs battleships.

    It's already pretty deadly. Over the ten pre-patch test games I did this morning I scored an average of ~430dmg per game, including a cap oriented game and the occasional unfortunate stomp, without a single consumable.

    Using the "crazy ammo" variant of course, 400 missiles is definitely not enough (I shot more on 6 out of 10 games).

    It does not come without weakness (1/ light vs light and 2/ very short range)(and 3/ no JJ *cry* ) but it's very powerful once you're used to it. And it's really fun to pilot.

    Tried this in a team with epikt. ^_^

    XL 280, 5 tons of ammo. Fantastic build! 5 stars without hesitation.

    I have an XL 300 and it just doesn't fit in this, too few ammo or amor.

    with XL 255 I run 6T of ammo and full armor, it's ok in skirmish an assault, even if a bit slow :D

    and with the XL 300 I just skipped to this



    less firepower but at least it's optimized. (still, those ammo burn really fast, would need a 5th ton).

    This build has changed my perception of the OXIDE...
    I was frustrated with the obvious 4xSSRM2 build, but with the borked SRM hit detection I saw no other solution.

    Tried this build today, and with the improved hit detection, I am very pleased with the results.
    K/D is quickly climbing with the blitzkreig style attacks and Heavy and Assaults are crying in their cockpits.

    I just did some SRM-Tests with the CPLT-C4, i could deal plenty of 700+ Scores Matches with that fragile CT sensible Chicken. So i`m not even impressed that this so much faster mini-Chicken can do the same Scores. :p

    To be serious again: Epikt, you are impressing me again and again with this Build. You have my fullest respect for your Jenner-Love! :)
