Basically a faster JR7-F without a big nose that catches all fire ever. The Jenner is officially obsolete.

Exchange TC1, 2JJs and/or engine size for more heatsinks if desired, for example as such:

I think this mech can easily fit an invasion drop deck.

I'm not sure how viable the Osiris is as an Invasion chassis, it seems to be lacking range and ECM, mostly. It's also 10 tons heavier than a Locust, so you'd have to compensate in your other mechs (no 85x2+75+20, but 85x2+65+30 for 265t total dropdeck).

I was considering to put in the Invasion tag, yes.

If you swap the lasers to ER Mediums, it should have the range needed for Invasion.

    Easy peasy
    95 - 70 - 70 - 30
    85 - 75 - 75 - 30
    95 - 85 - 55 - 30

85 and 95 are LL banshee / battlemaster
75 is a marauder or a 70 tonner like the grasshopper / warhammer
    55 is the bushwacker

I'm already using the Javelin with 7 ML and is a good 30 tonner with 1xJJ and heat gen quirks, but this could be a valid alternative.

I keep forgetting JJs are an option here. I just boated more heat sinks.

So I ended up settling on an XL275 and 12 DHS 2 JJs. Loving this concept in general and however you want to tune it, it works. Didn't have a 280 on me. They really need to patch that to match TT/MW/everything...

    Amazing light.
I didn't play for 2 years, came back and after some dicking around and getting newly released mechs, I finally ended up buying the Osiris.
In my opinion this thing is extremely strong, if not THE best IS light

    5/5,
Excellent build: very good speed, very good hitboxes.
I think it's better to downgrade engine and fit at least 3 external DHS though.

I have had the best luck with XL280 but I agree I run no TC and 2 jump jets for the cooling. It runs fairly hot sometimes since you have opportunities to keep firing from new angles as you move.

One HS for 3 engine levels is not a good trade in my opinion.

It can be compensated by speed tweak.
I'm running this skill tree (this is one of the few mechs where survival is actually a waste), so my Osiris actually runs at 153 km/h instead of 140+. TBH even at 140+ you can outrun most enemies, in fact you could even fit a XL255 and still run at 148 km/h.

IMHO right now, with piranhas that can easily catch any light, it is better invest in cooling for sustained DPS rather than speed to try outrunning them.
