Considering MRM high spread and quite low velocity, this mech is best used a short ranged build with good sustained DPS, good pinpoint thanks to AC10 and very good alpha strike. Still, mauler hasn't great base torso yaw, so be mindful to not completely hug your target, try to keep your range a bit to avoid being unable to track your target.
