One of the two most obvious sniper builds on the MAD-IIC-D. The ECM helps preventing incoming fire when leaving cover for Gauss usage. This build probably excels on cold long range maps like Alpine Peaks, Boreal or Grim Plexus.
EDITED: changed title and description for the best variant I've played so far. As simple as it looks: you can outrange most IS mechs and it does have a very good punch at medium-long ranges. It is a very cool mech and it plays nicely even in hot maps if you are able to peek and / or trade. The lack of close range weapons is not a big deal, just remember to disable arm lock if anything get close to you: you can kill any light very close to you if you manage to hit it to the Center Torso with your double gauss. Spoiler: 1000+ damage games ALT: enhanced speed with some armor shaved from the leg, 1 fewer DHS and a cXL340. Use this variant if you feel too cool and way too slow. Old Version: first version of this mech, featuring half ton ammo, a TC4 and too many heat sinks. I never looked to the heat management, that's why it's not really worth it.
5/5, The only reason you should buy this variant: 2xGauss and 2xERLL coupled with ECM are very nasty. Maybe it's not the best assault sniper, but is very fun to play.
5/5, Classic build for the chassis. Requires smart positioning, but super fun! My take on it: _ and skills: https://kitlaan.gitlab.io/mwoskill/...062101cf37f000058080170bdfe9c820100#s=Weapons
