    Probably the most you can stuff into this Mech in terms of firepower. I would much prefer more ammo for the MG and a better gun though. But then again, you are doing what a cicada is doing with a much smaller mech. The best you can do in terms of firepower, but then again shouldn't you be using other variants, or even a spider?
    Probably the most useless of the locusts.

    I'm starting to think that the 1V is pretty much useless with the XL190 engine (which I already paid for, yay). Yes you can still plop in a big gun (like in your Big Gun) build, but you're left with no armor in the arms which really leaves your side torsos exposed. The XL170 seems like the best compromise for speed/weaponry due to the terrible hardpoints on the 1V.

    Is the ER Large Laser really worth it, wouldn't a standard Large Laser be better for heat managment?

    Given the quirks it's almost obligatory:

    ER-Large Laser Cooldown 50%
    Energy Weapon Cooldown 25%
    Energy Weapon Range 15%
    ER-Large Laser Duration -50%
    Laser Duration -25%

    You would use 25% instead of 50%, big waste :)

    As you see this build was posted in 2013.

    Now it can be a decent CW non stop ERLL sniper 20T filler, like this :



    Even if you see more then 100% heat eff. if you add modules and 50% cooldown and the elite skill, you will still reach heat cap in CW!

    Yup, quirks have been changed a while ago.
    Right now, according to mech DB, you can enojy some additional armor on all components plus -30% energy cooldown and +10% MG RoF

    Thanks to DHS/HS buff patch and skill tree, it could be viable as a fun harasser: poke at range, use MGs on whoever manages to get close to you.
