297m on MPL with a 0,45 duration, very good cooling eff. (takes a lot to overheat in heat neutral map, can spam all day in cool maps, and still good in hot maps) with this speed are a nice combo.

no speed tweak, no double effs :

The heat eff. might be a waste later on, but to level up I feel this is a nice build because you don't have to worry about heat most of the time.

Nice. I've actually been considering putting this weapon setup on my Pirate's Bane, to level it up. I've been using 2 MPL and 2 SPL, but in general, I find that the short range of the SPLs makes them difficult to use at times. I'll probably switch to this and see how I like it that way. :)

Honestly, I tried all sorts of MLas/MPL setups with my Locusts, but ended up with all three of them having all SPL setups instead. That recycle time on the lasers is to die (or kill) for...

Yes, I would suggest this as a levelling build, when you are still going 153 km/h and don't have double eff.

Can't fire too much for heat if you use 6ML
Can't engage/disengage for the good but not superior speed, paired with the low armor if you use SPLs.

So this build will help you.

Compared to SPL build DPS and alpha is lower, but you still have 2x range and 2x max range more or less. On solo drops this is often important as well !

I honestly think this may be my biggest issue with Locusts in the long run. I hardly ever drop solo . . . if I'm not with the Unit, I have dozens of friends asking me to join them! :D I don't mind it, as I really enjoy dropping with all my friends; it just means I rarely get a chance to drop more than 2 or 3 matches at a time Solo.

I may have to make time for it though, so I can see how these things do at full potential. ;)

PS: Trying to drop-command from them sucks. :shifty: :hilarious:
