_ This build was born from a failed attempt at using rockets on a king crab. After some tweaking and completely ignoring the energy hardpoints, I was pleasantly surprised that this build just worked for me. The playstyle I tend to run with this is ambushing enemies who decided to get just a bit too close, with the 80 damage alphastrike shredding the armor on most mechs. MRM10's are a personal choice due to the faster deployment of missiles and the tighter spread.
_ How is the heat and ammo? Can you fit a LPPC or a few mediums? They would fit with your preferred ambush range.
This build can get pretty dang spicy during extended engagements, though ammo isn't typically an issue. Heat is the main reason I strayed away from the energy hardpoints, though now you've got me curious as to how it might perform with some medium lasers.
