JM6-S "Come a little closer" (4x ERLLas, 4x MG, AMS, XL300)

    This is actually my first post on mechspecs - so I do apologize for not yet having the allbeit common knowledge that most all of you should possess. I do not know how to link to smurfies. So, with that said - I will type out the build as follows.

    Jager JM6-S with XL300 running XL300 with 4x ERLLs and 4x MG with 2 tons of ammo, the armor rating is at maximum, which is great and the Heat Eff is at 1.22 with Double Heatsinks added until max tonnage is achieved.
    I run with Adv Zoom and Adv Sensor Range.

    My first match with this build was on Canyon Network - I was pugging with a 4 man lance. The result though, may baffle some of you.

    My 3 kills were all atlas' - 2 of which were face to face fresh atlas'. My damage at the end of the match was 747 - and I did, in fact, survive. Now I'm no one crazy that went Atlas hunting or anything - it just happened that way - but I am happy to share the match with you all.

    But keep in mind, with the 4 ERs set in pairs as left and right: you can peak snipe or even choose to brawl should the situaton present itself, although not the intention. The machine guns not only harass but actually produce results. This mech is good for a number of uses - whether you want to hang back and take pot shots, or if you are encountered by someone up close and personal, or even support roles. And because the ERs are so close together in terms of their pairing - people may see the blue streak - but they only see one streak at a time. They have no idea they are getting hit by 2x the damage. It puts things down, and quickly. :)

    Also, I may add that you see many, many builds running 2x AC20 - although not producing a full 40 damage whallop, the 4x ERs come very close to the same result but with a more consecutive fire rate. And nevermind the tonnage saved! Two AC20 with 4 tons of ammo would weigh about 32 tons by itself. Now - with 4 ERLLs you are looking at 20 + plus whatever # of heatsinks you desire.
    But lastly, let's not forget that with those hardpoints for ballistics not in use, you can throw in those 4 machineguns which definitely should never be underestimated. So - my point is - 2x AC20 with the possibility of 2x ML - or 4 ER (with their superior range) + 4 MG for supression and harrassment..... no brainer. I'll never look back to BoomJager again....
