Don't let the name fool you. It is not as annoying as Tom Cruise in an action flick. Nor is it, Jack Reacher, a mech which would be a durable, utility brawler. This Ilya version consistently and rapidly reaches out to your enemy with a decent punch, quick moves, and AMS protection with almost max armor and what I call a 'shield arm'. -With speed tweak it is surprising agile for a heavy mech -With the zoom module it blows off components and annoyingly shakes people up at long range -With centurion-like turning, you can shield yourself with beefy, 44 armor, zombie arm. -The FP is low for a heavy mech, but the 39% cooling makes the ER LLas' last a long time (chain them) I admit this is not an exciting build but in the hands of an accurate pilot or veteran with modules, it can be a lot of fun. It does worse against lights like many in its class but it is good fun at all ranges. One could make argument for a standard engine but frankly that is a different mech build and approach. Oh, and just take your XL330 out of your Cicada X5 like I did,
Welcome on Mechspecs. Few thoughts about your build: - place your DHS in the right arm, rather than on the left, so the DHS may take crit damage instead of the weapons if armor is open; - you don't need 4 tons of AC/2 ammo for a single gun. 3 tons are way enough; - that's good, because you forgot the AMS ammo, so just trade a ton. Place it in the head. That being said, why not. I'm a concerned bout the heat to be honest (my 3x ERLLas centurion also mount 18 DHS, and it does not have an AC/2 in addition). One more thing (but I feel like I'm stealing Blagg Zear's line here), c-bill bonus consideration aside, I think this build would be better on CTF-3D in order to be able to mount a jump-jet (1t can easily b shaved from legs' armor).
