Hi everyone, I'm looking for an optimal build where I can use my XL325. Problem is, often the 4.5 tonnage I gain from mounting a XL300 allows me to make a much more powerful build, in exchange for maybe 8 kph of speed. If I downgrade weaponry from a XL300 build, I end up with an XL340 engine most of the time. The XL325 being right in the middle is either a weird mix of weapon systems that don't complement each other very well, or laden with unneeded utility systems. But, there has to be some merit for the engine right? So please share your build where you think the XL325 is really great. I don't care what chassis currently. Or, convince me to sell it for another XL rating I've seen around, like the XL320 or XL340 ^^
I dunno, first thing I thought of for an XL 325 was the Orion. http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=97&l=f00a8c428a5e64fe5a723555c5263d56e31d23b2
I use it on my CN9-D. http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=29&l=e7a9c9d4a40e59b29be2244723fe76dcab1dd39d Build discussion is here.
Sexy, though I'd likely prefer some more HS. I find 2xAC2 already too hot on a 2AC5 2AC2 jager. I have certainly been thinking about getting the centurions though!

Wtf? If you have only one of a given XL engine you sure as hell don't sell it. Tons of examples here for XL325 options on all sorts of mechs. Victors and Cataphracts are always go-to mechs if you're trying to figure out what to do with an XL.
@Michael, no need to get smart ^^ I know how to press Ctrl-F but couldn't find anything to my liking in the chassis that I searched, + some builds are hidden down the threads. Since I didn't find what I was looking for, I made a thread here and it worked Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
I was being serious. Lots of people forget about the search function and that the builds are titled the way they are specifically so people can search by different features, engine sizes being one of them.
I see, in that case I apologize for the hypocritical remark. Do you think there would be a possibility to search equipment from smurfy-tabs in the future? Just the title is not going to help to find for example XL325 versions of XL300 or XL350 builds, because they will not be mentioned in the title and otherwise you'd have to search a whole range of engine ratings to find just one good build.
Way back in the beginning I spoke with Smurfy about integrating his mechblab and Mech Specs (back before we even took it on as the main source of our crib sheets). He declined. I don't think there is any particular way to be able to search his database (which is essentially the game files) and apply it to our own site.
