Perhaps this cost will be better...

I like it, simple, straightforward, and zombieable (is this even a word?).

I tried it, i find it very hot.

It is just 10 double heat sinks for 5 medium lasers and an AC10. The reach of if is nice though. That 450-900 meter AC10 gives you more to do at long range than the AC20 variant.

With the new quirks this build and the one with one less MLas are definitely the clear winners for this variant. However, I'm on the fence about which one is the way to go. Something to consider is a slower version of this with more heat dissipation and AMS. I'll give it a whirl myself, but I'd be interested to hear from anybody if they think the sacrifice in speed for firepower is worth it.

Nope. I'm convinced that the OP build is the way to go. The heat is super manageable as long as you're not the kid that needs to alpha all the time. Just use the following weapon groups:

    1) AC/10
    2) 2x Hunch MLasers
    3) 3x Head and Arm MLas

As long as you do that this build is super easy to manage the heat for and is 100% full of win. If you feel particular adventurous, strip some armor off whatever part you think they won't shoot you in and add more ammo or more DHS.

Oh, and don't forget that the whole reason they gave your mech a left side is so that it can absorb damage intended for the right side.

    5/5,
It's as cool as your mom thinks you are.

    4/5,
Bought the 'Mech this morning, put the OP build on and went for it!
Still need to finish Elite, but, the output was fun constant. Only runs hot if you are the type to simply FIRE EVERYTHING all the time.

Good use of quirks, good speed and armor. Ammo is at a sweet spot, and has PLENTY of backup firepower. Very fun build!

I've been running this (OP minus one med laser, but plus one DHS). Runs a bit cooler, but still plays like a BEAST.

    4/5,
Have to say been finding this one really smooth, I was surprised how much easier it was than Grid Iron. No one ever shoots hunchies in the legs so i shaved them for 1/2 a ton more ammo - so far so good. I agree with @bar10jim better of lose one laser on the shield side, so as not to run too hot. Its first thing to get blown off any way.

New Tech update (with SPL because they're the same as ML but have higher DPS that works with the 20% energy cooldown quirk)

Personally like the LBX10 a lot as well, due to lower heat.

    5/5,
Best build with the quirks, for this variant. +20% range gives it a very far away punch and high focus on energy means it optimally uses the -20% cooldown quirks and such. I advise running with LE on this variant though.

    5/5,
Workhorse. My choose LE250 with STD Armor and additional 3 DHS.
