I pretty much just drop solo. One time I tried to do a group drop, and it never found a match. How do group drops work? Specifically queuing with one other person. Is it a problem if I am a different tier from the folks I'm dropping with? For example, if I am mid-to-high Tier 4 and they are a brand new player at the bottom of Tier 5.
Mixing tiers does not matter. you may have just tried at a low population time but who is in a group is not even considered.
I had just gotten out of a drop. After a few minutes, my friend logged off. I requeued and quickly found a drop.
MM might prioritize group v group first for a bit before seeding you into the general queue but don't quote me on that.
