I've been trying to figure out a build I like on this variant and I think I finally found it. So, rationale is as follows: Personally I prefer a mixed loadout, as it helps with heat efficiency, as well as I just think it's cool. Also, taking some long ranged weapons mixed with the AC20 and the MPLs allows you to engage the enemy in a variety of ranges, as well as whittle down their armor till you close, leaving you fresh and them not. I took the BAP because I kept finding that I had 2 slots and 1.5 tons to spare.It also syncs up well with the missiles allowing you to cut down ECM, and it also meshes with the tacticon B-2000, giving you pretty insane lock range. (Have not yet tested usefulness of that though.) You can easily take it off and swap it with an AMS and a ton of ammo, which can also prove useful to you and your team. SO far this is a WIP, but it's the build I'm finding the best fit and felt like I ought to share.
