I find this commando extremely fun! I have used the er ppc spider and I seem to have better luck with this chassis for some reason. Normally I stick with my big guys and provide an ecm bubble while popping shots out from behind there legs when the bullets start coming in. You have to watch your heat on hot maps but it still cools down enough to be providing excellent support. But if you are looking for something to do with the 2d after the missiles got their nerf, well here it is! I would just suggest you guys give it a try and see if you enjoy it. This commando gets more playtime than my knell nowadays  -sh4m369
I'm getting ready to build this build. It being my 1st bought mech, could someone give me some tips for playing a commando? I can average about 5 assists and 2 kills a game, but seems like something is lacking (using default build here), hoping this build will help even more.
Hey Baine, This commando is meant to stick with team mates in order to both open armor, provide ECM cover, and HOPEFULLY not get hit yourself. Your armor won't be enough, so stick to cover, and hit the enemy when you are not being spotted. I personally love this mech build, at least better than the SSRM build.
The problem with this build is it will never be better than a Spider-5D with the same ERPCC and ECM, but with JJs, better heat efficiency and/or armor.
Is the streakmando that bad? I don't play it because I find it boring and kind of lame, but I don't feel it's weak. Even if they spread the damage a lot, SSRMs are powerful, especially against lights. And I honestly don't know what else to do with this variant, other missile lauchers are too heavy...
