Isn't the XL275 the same weight at the XL280, sell the 275 and buy that instead. I know you get if free with the Wolverine but still its a bad engine.
No real downside to stacking both ERPPC into one side. Helps convergence a little, but not really necessary. I've been testing mine with full 8/8 JJs, XL255, and an extra DHS. This thing is hilarious, but you really have to be careful and stick with your team considering how hot it is. Hopefully this gets much better after double-basic.
