Now the 130 velocity increase is not as impressive as a light gauss rifle reaching 3,300 without skills or equipment, but it does help 6 missiles not get hard countered by AMS. It also gives you a much better chance to connect with lights between 250 m and 630 m. At short ranges, it will actually make you miss more. Aim low. With the quirks, you essentially have 8xMG. You probably have to stare to get and hold a lock anyway, so might as well get some dps.
