I'm a bit late for the party, but here is my take with the new patch _ This build features: 4xLL + 1xERML for range laser pokes (all high mounted. CT LL is a bit lower than cockpit level, but still usable). 2xML low mounted coupled with a single HGR (only 2 tons of ammo means only 24 shots with max skills. Drop CT's LL for a ML and more ammo if you have not yet max skilled this mech) Can alpha strike twice without overheating with all weapons Basically, play peek-a-boo with your laser while you attempt to close in the gap. Do not risk bad trades with low mounted weapons and maybe wait instead for the brawl to start instead of committing yourself to a risky push. Alpha strike whenever you have the chance, but keep cover close to you to cool off. Ran this a few times, even ran into someone over and over running the same build, but with all ERML instead of regulars. Testing it out, I prefer that version a bit more, just so my ranges are a little more synced. _
