This isn't a top build, but I've found the mix of weapons to really be a lot of fun. So far the best game isn't great with only 500+ damage. It just feels really cool shooting things at all ranges with a menagerie of weapons.
Hi, welcome to Mechspecs.com! For your first build, it really looks good. The few problems i see in your build: 1. the amount of Weapontypes. You need at least 4 Weapongroups to manage this all. I think in the heat of the battle it could be confusing. 2. the low Armor on the Right Arm. Why go so low? The Arms of the Banshee are one of the best (biggest) Shields you can have when TorsoTwisting! You take out one of the best Advantage of the Mech. 3. Explosive Ammo in Sidetorso. Try to fit in C.A.S.E or relocate to the Arms. I suggest you to try this Variation: Yeah you don't have the PPC, but you have 6 MLas (Max. without Heat Penalty) to open up Armor fast and then focus on Critting your Target with your LBX. For Long Range just keep on firing away all your Missiles to free your Mech from explosive Ammo. Besides you have more Armor and a tiny bit more Speed and one more Heatsink. what i would run myself (a bit more risky):
Thanks for replying, Blagg Zear. I always enjoy your builds. The intention behind this build was something different to do while unlocking basic skills on the 3S. I posted it here because I thought someone else might enjoy a change of pace while leveling up, not because I feel it is competitive. As far as the number of weapons, it is what makes the variant fun for me. I also wanted to use a weapon layout like the Thor (Summoner if you're filthy vat born scum). Your version is undoubtedly more competitive. And is really just a variant of your Slaughter build. I actually debated a lot on ammo placement. Because the arms are such great shields I find my arms are always exposed sooner than my side torsos are. I originally had C.A.S.E. in the torso, but I found I could expend the ammo sooner than it became a problem. Do you consider arms to be safer even when they are being used as shields? I think this variant incorporates your feedback while still maintaining the spirit of the build. In fact I will be using this version now.
