This just looks hellish hot, but it isn't so much. With the below configuration, the mech has an heat efficiency of about 52% for group one and 62% for group two. Means, you can fire two ppc and an ac10 for almost half an eternity until it gets too hot. If it does, switch to group 2. If still too hot, switch to group 3. If you are better than me with heat management (which should be quite easy) you can switch the PPCs to groupfire and alternate between group 1 and 3 for offensive maneuvers. Groups: 1. PPC,AC10, PPC, -Chainfire mid/far range 2. 4x MLAS, AC10 -Groupfire close range 3. AC10 In every config, you're getting about 30dmg and about 4-6 dps, depending on your style but regardless of the range. Good thing is, the mech is relatively fast at 72mph and PPCs and AC10s are similar enough in projectile speed and usability that you can fire them in very quick bursts without adjustment for target. If you run out of ammo, use the two PPCs. If you're loosing your arms, use the 4 Mlas. One more thing: The setup is purely symmetrical, which I do like very much. The main weapons are to your left and right so you can fire them halfway covered behind a rock if you split the groups accordingly. And you have the full range arm movement. The bad: XL. And you shouldn't alpha like 4 times in a row. That should get you in self destruct hell pretty quickly.
