Put this together as a combination of the Pulse n' Pepper and Master of Misery builds. Wasn't sure if it was similar enough to include as a variant of either build considering I used the MGs of one and the 4 LLas of the other. Simple build--I prefer no more than 3 weapons types/groups on my builds just because I like simple weapons management, and I also think that having high alpha shots is important, i.e. the ability to hit a single point for 40 somewhat balances out the lack of heavy sustained fire. This gives me the ability to do a lot of component damage and encourages me to come off target for torso twist between shots. Group 1: 2xLLas Group 2: 2xLLas Group 3: 3xMGs Yes, ghost heat can be a problem, but with some testing on the Practice Grounds, I kind of worked out the thresholds and timing for sustained fire. Sometimes I fire the LLas groups in pairs, but if I think I can cripple or finish a mech, I'll go all in and suffer the GH with all 4 LLas. I did some testing with a STD350 to see if I could make it run cooler with the internal engine HS, but the saved tonnage from the STD340 gives you enough extra HS to mitigate the heat quicker. First run once I optimized the build: 777 damage, 2 kills, 4 assists, 7 components destroyed. And that's with nothing but the basic skills unlocked.
