I was intrigued by the unique play style of the Black Lanner. This is a weird mech. I tried a version with HMG's and uPL's instead of HSL's and standard MG's, but I feel like the extra bit of range you get with HSL's and standard MG's is worth it. Your arms and side torsos are easily blown off. But boy howdie can it be fun. Try to get good situational awareness before you commit to running in and assaulting. There are certain enemy mechs you can facehug and kill easily, and there are certain battles you cannot fight without support from other friendly skirmishers. Use your MASC liberally; with speed tweak and MASC engaged you can top out a little over 150 kph!
