Behold! Conquer everything and bring enemies to their knees under the force of the biggest guns in the Inner Sphere! You need support to keep fast movers off your back, but if your loyal subjects don't abandon you in a traditional American oval-race, you can crush anything. And it's too hot to sustain HPPC fire but you can still bring 40 damage to bear with the LBXs while riding 80% heat comfortably. ALT: If you don't want to spend on an Endo upgrade and want a bit more sustainability then this may be for you. You lose the ability to deal ranged damage but anything in your face is gonna regret it. This build is more of a local Tyrant than a far-reaching Overlord. Alt Idea provided by @Dagonus
Why the focus on PPC's? Why the 2A? You could go with the 1X and have lasers everywhere, having higher burst, lower heat, more ammo than you could ever use, and even a bigger engine:
@anamiac the focus on PPCs stems from the brutal PPFLD that you can achieve with them. In the case of an Annihilator it's less of an issue because torso twist speed is non-existent but my general idea is to fire and twist without having to deal with holding a beam.
