Casual HGN-IIC "Heat Generation Negationist" (3xcERPPC, 1xcGR, 2xJJ, cXL325) + ALTs (TC)

    Maximum cooling dissipation for maximum pinpoint spammines. For practical reason and to avoid triggering heat scale (ghost heat) I would use 2 firing group:
    1. 1st and 2nd ERPPC, 1xGR
    2. 3rd ERPPC
    So when you click and hold firing group one, you will fire immediately 2xcERPPC and starting charging up the Gauss Rifle. By the time the GR is charged, 0.75 seconds are passed, way more than 0.5s required to trigger ghost heat malus.

    Or you could the old 3 weapon group I used back in the day
    1. 1xGR
    2. 1st ERPPC
    3. 2nd and 3rd ERPPC

    Post new-tech patch: this build is less viable because you can't fire anymore 2xcERPPC + 1xcGauss simultaneously without ghost heat. After the first games, the build has lost half some of its potential, but is still viable. You have to be more judgmental when to use the PPC+Gauss or the 2xPPC, depending on distance, transversal velocity of your target, your heat etc.

    I've also modified the original build and added a JJ for additional thrust. You can now reach some interesting sniping spots in some maps.



    You should play this build as a very nasty peeker: unload everything you can or poke only with your PPCs. Never poke just to fire your gauss: you will lose ANY non-free trade.
    Skills wise, go for cool run, heat containment, add some velocity/cooldown/heat gen and max out gauss ammo, so you will have 30 rounds at the weight of 2.5 instead of 3, add some armor and don't forget to add some "kinetic burst" and "hard brake": those will help you to quickly poke and hide.


    About the alts, you should play around between bigger TC and less DHS/JJ, or the other way around: more maneuverability, but slower projectiles and lower crit chance... Find your sweetspot.

    Thanks to the lastest patch, hit chances and the destruction of internal components are now very easy to achieve, so the main focus of the TC are "skill-less" zoom and increased projectile velocity.

    No one made a PPC build for this variant? That's weird. Anyway, if you didnt get the pun, "Pin Point Criticals" aka PPCs. It is a nasty peeking sniper wich can hit targets with ease.

    TBH I could have created a completely new thread, but due to same weapons layout and just a change in utility (no TC at all) I thought I should have simply stashed the previous thread inside the "spoiler" zone
