I've recently had a lot of success pairing 2 Ultra 10s with an Ultra 20 on my Blood Asp and even though clan-tech is soooo much better, I thought I'd give it a try on a Nightstar. This is what I'll be testing because I don't want strip out Endo until I'm sure its worth it... Version with LFE300 and 11 DHS Version with LFE 285, 12 DHS and back up weapons but 1 less ton of UAC/20 ammo
Finally managed a decent game in this mech... This thing can hit hard but its not an easy 'mech to pilot. It's slow, hot, and short ranged. Despite all its problems it does feel like a capable machine though. I think I'm gonna keep it this way at least for a while. For clarification: At the time of this game I only had 11 skill points on the 'mech (all in survival). I expect it will get better with skills.
