Less close-range killing power than the "Scorch" versions, but infinitely more versatile. Poke with the Gauss, strip some armor so that when you're close 48 damage from the SRMs is plenty. There's enough Gauss ammo for brawling as well, and even if cGauss gets hit with the recoil nerf permanently it really doesn't affect the build much. Fun fact: Not optimized at all for Solaris Division 1, nonetheless consistently can win in it. Play the same way as QP, poke from cover with the Gauss, after you've landed 2 or 3 salvos feel free to close in to use SRMs.
Being D1 primarily against things like Annihilator's I'd say that yes, you could throw the HMLs in there for the extra damage. Between the Gauss and SRMs cooling won't be an issue either. Has the potential to work well!
It's still got it! Heat management for days even on Terra Therma~ *Edit* At the end of that match I had 16 Gauss rounds left and roughly 100 missiles. Didn't even play safe that match. Held W and just kept on pushing into and through the enemy. Except for when a Piranha crit out my left arm. It thought it could hide behind a pillar and shoot at my teammates afterwards so I gave it 63 damage from 20m away into it's rear.
5/5, This is what I did on my MCII-2. It is fun. The 2xLB20's are just a little too hot, the Gauss ability for range, pinpoint and no heat I think is a better trade off. The only drawback of this thing is the giant missile pods telling the enemy 'this is my left torso' 'this is my right torso'. For this reason I think the Scorch is better. Skilling this up though I did have a couple amazing brawls and 1k games.
